Sorry for the late reply. Definitely consult local counsel. Your state may have a directory for referrals to counsel. You may be able to get away with only an hour (or less) of legal consulting (+plus settlement (.eg a propionate section of the shares) if you're willing to settle the matter with the lien holder.
