Pixelfed is an open-source, community funded and decentralized image sharing platforms that runs on Activity Pub. Pixelfed.social is the largest Pixelfed server, which was launched in 2018 but has gained renewed attention over the last week.

Pretty sure the instances generally federate. I’ve been putting up pix. And bit by bit transferring my stuff from IG. It’s a nice community. Very supportive.
