Apparently, work protections are not good enough, because they're leaving blue states.

? Worker protections don't prevent the employer from relocating. The US has become more of an oligarchy than ever, that's why the pigs at the top can move operations to states that are worse for their employees and get away with it, e.g. Tesla moving to Austin.
