How about a nice mug of Dr Pepper?
I sadly remember this stupid idea of Hot Dr. Pepper in the 70s.
It was as gross then as it is now, but some of my family actually still do this in Minnesota this time of year. Dr. Pepper, Lemon, Mint and a bit of Rum. Barf.
Does it pair with fish in jello?
Shimp Jello maybe... Lutefisk can probably work too as I have some Minnesota Swedish family who would have that combo in a heartbeat.
For us, it's more of a desert drink mixed with Peacan Pie, Ambrosia salad or popcorn balls... typical Minnesota deserts lol.
I would try that.
I think there's something in the water and I've clearly lived in Minnesota for too long.
Family in question: Born in Anoka, one currently in Park Rapids and the other Minnetonka.
