I wonder what other shapeshifter fruit will be. We got face change that affect the body a bit, and we also got a perfect shapeshifter zoan. Not sure if this one also a shapeshifter though, you-know-who could as well be the offspring of Garling and this one is the twin brother, since we don't know much of his story. How else he could just walk right in front of the elders and propose stuff?
I don't know if anyone will have another shapeshifter fruit, unless maybe I missed something? Right now, I expect Shams will be a haki-forward type of guy.
Actually one of the movies, Film Red, heavily implies that Shanks is in fact a Figarland. The film's immediate events aren't canon, but that backstory part of it is widely considered to be because there's a canon databook (or magazine or whatever) that came out around that time that is confirmed to be canon and adds more details. I think Shamrock being Shanks' twin is one of those badly kept secrets.
