Didn't the Supreme Court say the president can't be sued for anything they do in an official capacity? How is this one happening?
They said that the President is immune from prosecution for "official acts." That means he can't go to jail for crimes he commits so long as they are official acts. Official acts is undefined, so it means whatever the Supreme Court wants it to.
This is a civil lawsuit.
