I'm considering using lineage OS on my android devices. Has anyone tried this? (lemmy.ml)

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but has anyone used lineage OS, and is this a good Rom in order to prevent google data mining and tracking?

LineageOS may be the most polished "Custom ROM" out there. I've been using it for years (back then it was still called CyanogenMod) and specifically look for devices supporting it when I buy a new one. Currently using a Mi Mix 2S.
