Statt Google Maps nutze OpenStreetMap. Es gibt zahlreiche Websites und Apps, die auf den Daten dieses Communityprojekts basieren: Einfache, trackingfreie Apps sind MagicEarth und Organic Maps. Anspruchsvolle nehmen gerne OsmAnd. GraphHopper bietet schnelle Routenberechnung. BRouter ist ideal zum Planen von Freizeitaktivitäten mit vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten.

Organic Maps ist für die Auto Navigation gegenwärtig meine bevorzugte App. Lange war das Magic Earth aber nach einem Update war die Route Berechnung und Navigation fast unbrauchbar. Inzwischen wurde das glaube ich wieder korrigiert.
Für die Motorrad Navigation und Routen Planung gibt es glaube ich nicht viel bessere Apps als die Kurviger App. Leider ist sie nur als bezahl App über den Google App Store zu haben.
