Statt Google Maps nutze OpenStreetMap. Es gibt zahlreiche Websites und Apps, die auf den Daten dieses Communityprojekts basieren: Einfache, trackingfreie Apps sind MagicEarth und Organic Maps. Anspruchsvolle nehmen gerne OsmAnd. GraphHopper bietet schnelle Routenberechnung. BRouter ist ideal zum Planen von Freizeitaktivitäten mit vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten.

Ich benutze seit Jahren die App "Locus" mit schier unendlichem Funktionsumfang und zuverlässiger Navigation.
Dazu die OSM-basierten OpenAndroMaps – genial und schlicht die besten Karten zum Wandern, Radfahren oder Orientierung in der Stadt (mit Adressen- und POIs-Datenbank) und obendrein mehrsprachig.
