This is the UAE we're talking about, a gaudy piece of uncultured shit in the desert built on slave labor. I'm sure they know that Musk is a serial fraudster and that his "loops" are car culture disguised as effective public transit, but they just don't care except inasmuch as it gives them the image of being futuristic to the shallow dipshits who vacation there.

What’s even worse is that they have sent spies disguised as aid workers to the Gaza Strip to help the Israeli military and have supported the RSF in Sudan who are guilty of crimes against humanity.
