A community to satirize conservtive and right-wing "ideals".
This community (now) exists as a pressure valve, a place to process through humor the often frustrating world of conservative politics. Above all, this is NOT the place for serious conservative support/viewpoints/arguments. There are other places on Lemmy for that if you desire it.

Parody With Purpose: This is a space for humorous takes on conservative politics. We welcome satire, but draw the line at content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, or other forms of bigotry.

Memes Over Manifestos: This community focuses on humor and parody, not serious political debate. There are plenty of spaces for earnest conservative discussion, this isn’t one of them.

Highlight Contradictions: Sometimes the best content points out inconsistencies and hypocrisies in conservative talking points. Creative commentary is encouraged.

Public Figures Fair Game: Politicians and pundits can be satirized, but no targeting of private individuals, doxxing, or harassment.
Children of public figures under the age of 14 are also off-limits, a 16 year old has enough free agency to break with or adopt their parents views. An 8 year old kid doesn't.

No News Zone: Memes only, news or other serious content should be sent to the nearest relevant comm. Meme's of current events, however, are encouraged.

Clear Satire: Make your satirical intent reasonably clear. We’re here to mock bad ideas, not accidentally spread them. If you're unsure how it will be taken, feel free to DM the mod team ahead of time or explicitly tag it as satire in the body.
A note on ChadMcTruth: Chad's content is 100% satire, but his work can sometimes be hard to tell, but if he posted it be assured, its satire.
- Relevant Content: All posts should relate to conservative politics or ideologies in some way somewhere in your post. Either in the title or the meme itself.

Guys! Is it a hate crime to hate Nazis? Hate fascism? Hate anti-intellectualism? Hate bigotry?
Are we no better then the people who are opening up concentration camps?
I was taught something when I was little that I still use today. If you sit down to a table of 9 nazis and don’t immediately get up and leave. Your at a dinner for 10 nazis.
Just like the conservative refrain of “not all Muslims are terrorists but most terrorists are Muslims.”
Yes we fought a war and killed millions of them. How’s that for publicly beat them and destroy their lives. In fact they’re still being hunted down to this very day.
Yes if you hate someone for how they view themselves you are a waste of oxygen and resources. There are nearly 8 billion humans on the planet we’ll get by without you.
All arguments without a basis in reality yes.
To much free speech yes. There should be laws against publicly and knowingly lying. But we seem to be ok with a certain percentage of folks being scammed and a certain percentage doing the scamming. Fuck that.
No tolerance for intolerance. When your views are that I should not exist, I don't really give a fuck about anything else you have to say. Why is that so hard to understand for you?
I am more than an ideology, but according to the federal government I don't exist, I can't get a passport, and they're working on denying people like me access to needed medical care. That is explicitly the fault of conservatives. That's what you all want. You are my enemy as a result.

i think of respect as a social contract; if you have basic respect for others then you also get respect from me, if you don't then you don't. exaggerating that and pretending conservatives are oppressed is ridiculous. conservative's actions and opinions are just harmful and people call you out on it. it's not like you're getting mass deported or jailed. the negative consequences that conservatives in america do face right now mostly come from their own god emperor who decided that actually poor people (including conservatives) should just die.
Grand ol Projection
Republicans got a candidate some of them actually like, whom was originally selected by a primary process. The rest of us were offered no such luxuries. It's very simple.
That's weak. The reason why there wasn't a primary has been explained so many times that still not understanding it requires some effort.
Remember, some of us couldn't vote. I hope you didn't waste yours because of a bruised ego.
I voted. Correctly.
And I didn't claim not to understand, I stated the fact of it. It is so, and its effect on voters is real, even if it is very disappointing to be just one voter in a sea of midwits.
99% of Americans lost the election, my dude. Many of them just don't see it yet; but they will.
The difference is hate towards you and your Nazi brethren is warranted. It's ok though. It's hard for concepts and thoughts to get a foothold on such a smooth surface.
