Andrew has been working on the piefed API for a long time and now we see its benefits! It's very close, and later we will see it being deployed to piefed.social and other instances.

The API will be very similar to lemmy's, so lemmy clients and apps will work with mild modification!

Excited for Photon with piefed :D
