#PhotoOfTheDay is Ubehebe Crater, Death Valley National Park. It's half a mile deep and resulted when volcanic magma reached the groundwater, flashed it into steam, and BOOM!

@[email protected] Better get to that before it's too late! :) Health issues and economics have reduced my getting-out-and-living considerably, so I'm glad I did some of it when it was easier.
