I simply registered for the free tier with a temporary e-mail address and it works very well for me in English and German. Without registering you can try out few requests.

I've deleted my OpenAI account today and moved there. It's pretty impressive so far and it doesn't even require you to sign in. I had almost forgotten that there are good and free services that don't try to track you halfway across the internet in exchange.
