I (21M) have back pain in a specific spot in my vertebrae. It's in the middle of my shoulder blades.

It appeared suddenly yesterday and I'm scared it's permanent. What should I do?

First thing, don't worry. The chances of a sudden onset pain in that area, without a distinct injury as the cause, becoming permanent is absurdly low. Particularly at your age, but it applies even for us old farts.

Follow the standard care of taking it easy, using nsaids , maybe acetaminophen, and applying heat until you can get it checked out.
