I don’t think there ever was a socialist country? Socialism and communism are not the same thing…
Do you really think that the historical examples of the bloody dictatorships that proclaimed themselves communist, have anything to do with with Marx’s ideas? That one system where everything is secondary and sacrificed so that a small political elite may cling to their golden thrones are synonymous and not contradictory to one where the aim of a system is not to keep growing the golden horse of some pestilent fuckers?
It was just a joke, since people said the same during the shortages under Trump's previous presidency.
