Nobody in this thread can explain to me how somebody who has complete control for life is not a dictator.

And no, him manipulating elections and suppressing opposition doesn't count as the people making a choice.

Yes i understand the US has flawed elections, we all need to do better.

That’s because, by baselessly & repeatedly claiming that Xi dictator for life, you are begging the question. Despite the evidence I presented that:

People in China, unlike those in the US, believe they have a democratic system. I also provided evidence that the US doesn’t.
Chinese people have many material reasons to be happy with their improving lots in life over the past several decades, while the lives of people in Western capitalists states have been deteriorating over the last ~40 years of grinding neoliberalism. So it’s no surprise that people in China might want more of the same.
