Um, dude, I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what Lemmy and Reddit are. They are a category of social media called "Link Aggregators", posting links to stuff is what you're supposed to do. News, articles, projects, blog posts, GitHub repos, random one off websites, YT/PT videos etc doesn't matter who made it. What matters is you think it's cool or at least think others will find it cool and you post it. That's it.

Again, that's just been the last week or so and specific to [email protected] because that's what it's trending towards as a comm.
1, it's not currency, but it's not entirely useless. It's good for some metrics to judge how well something you post is being received. Not the best metric, but...it's the one we got lmao. And 2, there it is again the "judgy aggression"

I personally like the content posted by cm0002 and I'd like for him or her to go on with his or her work as he or she has been doing so far.
