Patty stands next to the table watching Charlie Brown, who is standing in a chair making numerous sandwiches on the table. She asks,"Are you going to eat all of that just before going to bed?"
She follows him as he walks off with his full plate and a glass. She continues,"You'll have nightmares, Charlie Brown"
He places the plate and glass on the footstool. He says,"That's all right with me..."
She stands in front of him as he sits in the chair eating from the stool. He concludes,"I get bored with just plain sleeping!"

Was there ever any evidence to support this as a side effect of going to bed on a full stomach? I feel like I haven't heard claims like this recently.
Hard to search through all the blogspam about the topic but personal anecdotal experience says yes, fwiw
