I think once the singularity is reached with AI, it will quickly be able to take over all systems (including banking). I believe that it will be benevolent and will help humanity reach enlightenment. Most people will get an early retirement. But, some people such as Musk, Zuck, Bezos, will be considered essential and will be required to assist the AI and their robot armies in the fields, restaurants, factories, etc. Iโm thinking we would only need about 1% of the population to work at that time, the top 1% are the best candidates.
Its fascinating that millenarians have now latched on to software developed for fraud and generating non-consensual pornography.
I doubt AI will ever have it's own will. First to get their hands on ASI, becomes God forever.
EDIT: Imagine a beyond human AI, restoring life to everyone who has ever lived, and making more life, just so it can inflict beyond-comprehensible torture, just doing whatever is the opposite of good. If possible, forever.
