I’ve found being more prepared has already helped my family for trips and power outage. Such planning also scratching that part of my brain that enjoys making spreadsheets and categorizing my library.

My partner has begun backing up parts of the internet, like Wikipedia in anticipation of the US raising a firewall.

I couple of Go Bags certainly wouldn’t hurt, since we live close to the US border.

It’s super easy to run mediawiki, Wikipedia’s software, locally.
