What is libre culture?

Libre culture is all about empowering people. While the general philosophy stems greatly from the free software movement, libre culture is much broader and encompasses other aspects of culture such as music, movies, food, technology, etc.

Rules

I've looked into the ways other forums handle rules, and I've distilled their policies down into two simple ideas.

“But senior people in the Gates organization very clearly sent out the message: Pooling was unnecessary and counterproductive. They dampened early enthusiasm by saying that I.P. is not an access barrier in vaccines. That’s just demonstratively false.”

Appears there was a chance for a good thing, but was preempted by Gates and his venture in March.

a Gates Foundation spokesperson pointed me to a piece by its CEO, Mark Suzman, arguing that “IP fundamentally underpins innovation, including the work that has helped create vaccines so quickly.”

It's weird (as a non-IP owner) to see this appear here, I understand the work is valuable but would have thought that there were other ways to capitalize on this without slowing down the vaccine rollout.

Ive begun to see things about his (Gates) work with farmers and seeds in India as well, so perhaps there's a chance that more scrutiny will continue to appear.
