We'd have Biden as President and the status quo would have continued. No one could have beaten the incumbent but Trump and his cult of personality.

OTOH, he would have been a martyr, but I don't think that would have translated into an election win for anyone else.

Isn't he already there? He looked super unhappy through the entire first term. He looks even less happy now..he seems only fueled by raging against the clouds with his tiny hands balled into tiny fists.
