Jack Black lost my respect long ago when he ditched Tenacious D to make shitty family movies.
Jack Black earned enough respect from me for Tenacious D and everything else he has done, to withstand doing some family movies. If he wasn't as big influence on your life I can understand not seeing it that way though.
He threw his best friend Kyle Gass under the bus. Jack Black sucks

It's probably moreso that they actually know each other unlike us.
I guess their record deal ended.
"As long as there's a record deal we'll always be... Friiiiiieeeends yeah!"
I wish he hadn't done that. But I can also see how he wouldn't want to put fans at risk by continuing that tour after Kyle put a MAGA target on their back.
But like I said, either way he's earned a pass in my book for the music and comedy that was a huge influence on me.
