Not all of reddit, but worldnews permabanned me for saying Biden was complicit in Palestinian genocide. I was not a frequent or controversial poster.

I got banned there too for saying not to worry about a potential Ukrainian terrorist wave in the EU, since most of them are at the front, dead or female.
On reddit I would have been banned for the latter, but I think here they got upset about the 'not to worry' part.

Your statement doesn't seem ban-worthy either. When people get sensitive about statements like that you have to wonder what their morality standards are.
Oh, I thought you meant lemmy.ml.
The morality is here is a combo of liberalism, social democratism, Marxist-Leninism, but most of all US-progressivism.
So jokes that could be interpreted to support otherwise are out of the question.
And no critique against US-progressivism is allowed, they're in a battle against US fascists.
