@[email protected] When I was a kid, my elementary school had a framed print of Christina's World on the wall near the principal's office. I sometimes think of that as my introduction to fine art.
@[email protected] It sounds like it was a memorable introduction... I always loved that piece, it was so evocative, even though it was a long time until I knew the story behind it. This photo always reminds me of it.
@[email protected] I just remember seeing it when I walked in that part of the hall. In fifth grade my classroom door was right next to it. It wasn't until much, much later than I knew what it was called. I started wondering yesterday if it was still there. I just called the school, but it went to automated voicemail. Maybe it's spring break there?
