We can only speculate, but America had already trained Bin Laden at that point. I wonder what would have happened had Al Gore's victory been honoured by the Supreme court and not given to Shrub.

I think no matter who won besides bush, the idea of invading iraq of all places in reaction would NEVER have occurred to any of them.
