Male Fashion Advice

Yeah. A black shirt is kinda difficult to pull off imo. A general advice is to have your layers to go from lighter to darker; it's possible to not follow it but then the fit can easily fall in the "costume" category. Think of a white tie on a black shirt + suit.

I don't mind the way the fit looks in general, the purple accent is fun, but as is it kinda feels loud to me. The cheap shiny tie + matching pocket square, and a lot of accessories (tie pin AND tie bar, really?) don't help in that direction.
