@useless_modern_god yup, it's such a bizarre period on social media right now.
Firefish is based on a fork of Misskey, a popular Fediverse microblog platform in Asia, especially Japan.
It's graphically quite pretty, and I've been told it allows Quote Boosts though I haven't worked quite how on the instance I created an account on...
Oh true? I lurked on Misskey for a bit. Might check it out thank you.
