In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.

Some Rules

Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Hey guys, im just got rid of gboard and im already missing the autocorrect and swipe to type features. I know there has to be a privacy friendly option out there. Thank you for your help; im fat fingering every other key, pls save me

FUTO Keyboard is hands down the best option.

If you have philosophical objections to the FUTO license, then your options are Heliboard and Florisboard. Heliboard is currently better, but Florisboard has promise.

I've been trying it but the swipe to text is absolutely atrocious I spend 90% of my time going back and correcting.
