Honestly, I haven't seen the movie either. I just like saying that to Avatar fans because it can often it a pretty hysterical meltdown. Same thing with saying to Trek fans that Wrath of Khan is a bad movie. I do a lil trolling from time to time.
That being said, I have no interest in the Avatar series. The setting and story aren't of any real interest to me. I'm glad that people have something that they love but I am just never gonna be one of those people
Edit: I've never seen a fandom, in my life, that is more emotionally fragile than Avatar fans. Even Star Wars fans don't come slightly close, and they've been screaming about anything non-George for years.
There's plenty to criticize of George's Star Wars too. The Holiday Special, the Special Edition tampering, the Prequels...
Yeah my impression was that most of the screaming was triggered by George lol
