Miniest didn't get an offer from her first choice of high school. I came home to a little girl crying in her bedroom, in bed with the curtains closed. I explained that it's part of the process and probably ed dept policy for every child to be offered a place at a school in their catchment area. We still have an appointment with them later this month.. on the very day appeals must be lodged by. So there's still a (probably slim) chance. But π
Oh poor miniest, thatβs so hard. It might be worth contacting the preferred school again, and asking if you could get an appointment earlier if the opportunity arises. Slim chance, but worth a try. There might be other kids that decline their spots or something
