same as it always was, the Alamo is a perfect example of this
renegade americans who want to establish their own country cant even defend the fucking place and it takes the US Army to come and rescue them... Never forget that the Alamo represents slavery the same way the Confederate flag does
It doesn't have a basement?
This one is going over my head. What about a basement? Where joke?
There's a psychic in the movie that tells Peewee that the bicycle he lost is in the basement of the Alamo -- the joke being that this is one of many instances where Peewee's naivety gets the better of him, sending him off in another odd direction. The plot continually plays off his innocence.
Nowadays, visitors to the Alamo reference the question on tours as a running joke.
There are no bicycles down there Pee-wee!
