Recently, Grimes announced that she would split revenue with anyone who made a song using her voice via AI, releasing an AI voice software that allows creators to convert vocal tracks to Grimes' voice.

Gonna type up some lyrics for a new song called "I Saw Elon Musk's Penis Multiple Times"

Also, I kinda doubt the claim of this article. The source is her, and IDK if she's referring purely to record sales, or what, but I suspect all the money she's made accumulated over her entire music career, for anything related to her music at all (live performances, merch sales, royalties) is more than what she's made off NFTs.

Grimes is not that big, each show probably only sells 65000 worth of tickets at most (taking 50 average price * 1300 capacity) and that's before all operating costs to venue, her entire tour team, and her label

The fact her label takes a cut of her live shows(/merch etc), no matter how fucking awful the music might be, is just fucking sickening. Live shows used to be why bands like The Rolling Stones existed for so many years. And how they actually made their money.
