Is a Dronie just like a baseline yankee-american or is it a specific type of yankee-american?
I interpret it as specifically as people who salivate at causing mass death and mayhem, but only if it's far away and with proxies so that it's not icky. As compared to people who want American GIs with boots on the ground getting their hands dirty doing warcrimes.
I always took it to be a nickname for neoliberal warmongers specifically, obviously playing off of "tankie", and partly in reference to good 'ol
. The real funniest thing though is that the "bad guys" (like Russia) seem to have better, more cost effective drones lol.
From now on it's everyone who calls me a tankie lol
