You see, the rightful owners of the land (United Kingdom) generously gifted it to Israel. You ask how a small country thousands of kilometers away got to own that land? Well we dont talk about that. We also dont talk about the people who lived there for generations before the founding of Israel.

I think nearly all land has probably been taken by force at some point. Having said that, finders-keepers ownership is just as illegitimate as take-by-force ownership in my opinion.
