Top level comments should be media which represents the general consensus of a topic on our instance. The media should be friendly for more liberal readers/viewers and ideally be quick and/or easy to consume.

Obviously, the term “party line” is facetious and I’m using the word “consensus” very loosely, but I think this would be a good thing to point curious passersby to when we have big threads fully of dunking and memes.

A favorite here is Michael Parenti’s 1986 lecture to the University of Colorado, also known as “Yellow Parenti” because it looks like someone spilled tea all over the footage or something.
