Nah, you're wrong. We don't need content, just hundreds of empty communities.
Let's create some content then and share it outside lemmy. People eventually come if we try to put some interesting content in there.
I think also that there is a lack of "casual" communities, It's all about tech and privacy.
Let's put some cat tax somewhere and people will join lemmy too.
