There were a lot of strong contenders for this category, but at least it can be said that Sinners absolutely delivered on cinematography, even if others out there would have preferred another film to win.
Like the "single shot" sequence about halfway through this scene was really well done, and all of the work needed to allow Michael B. Jordan to seamlessly play two characters that interact with each other quite a lot was no small feat.
