Can someone help me out here? Jellyfin always transcodes hevc which emby always direct plays. If I play from jellyfin server via Kodi, it direct plays. But the jellyfin app on android transcodes.

Coz of this I'm stuck with emby

Check your player settings on Android, and make sure that it is set to use the Integrated Player in the client settings.

Wow, thank you thank you thank you... Feel like an idiot now, that worked.... But still don't understand why the app was using the web player by default
