yeah generally everything after the "?" in a URL is safe to delete.

Not realy. Youtube for example uses stuff after the "?" to actualy specify the video you want.

Pretty sure that's bad url use, at least in my nerdy opinion. From stackoverflow : "'path params = resource identification' and 'query params = resource sorting'"
