Es wurde kreiert, da c/Deutschland sich zu sehr auf nur Dt. bezieht und daher nicht der optimale Ersatz für r/de wäre.

Ich hatte ja "deutsch" als Community Name gut gefunden, dann wäre Liechtenstein auch inbegriffen. Und ich glaube nicht alle kennen die Abkürzung DACH

Die Abkürzung ist schon relativ weit verbreitet
