I just arrived from Reddit, still figuring lemmy out, but seems to have lots of potential here.

Yeah, seems like some hybrid of old reddit, hackernews, and email (in the federated interoperability sense). Hell, it actually reminds me of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FidoNet -- which was super cool in its time.

I need to do myself some research as I think lemmy may be my first experience with a federated space, so I've yet to understand the different instances, etc. But I do like the feel.
