Why do most people choose to use WhatsApp over telegram?? (lemm.ee)

Telegram is just actually superior in terms of features I don't get it.

We don't choose which app we use. Our friends, family, and colleagues do.

I could live with Signal's functionality, but there barely anybody there.

If you live in the EU, somewhere around in 2024, you will be able to use something like Signal to communicate with others that are on WhatsApp. So you don't have to use WhatsApp at all to communicate with other WhatsApp users.

Everyone I know uses signal, even our neighborhood group messaging is a signal group.

Then again my neighbors are all reasonable people.
