Square Enix is celebrating the 21st anniversary of Final Fantasy XI by bringing back the Return Home to Vana’diel Campaign.

It’s really hard to get back into that game with its archaic controls and messy mesh of unconnected systems, but FFXI and Vana’diel hold a special place in my heart.

I would love to see the world given a revitalization in the XIV engine.
