I've been playing Judgment for a few days and, much as I'm enjoying it, it's driving me nuts that I can't figure out the purpose of the key "minigame." It says to choose the matching key, but there's nothing to match against! Am I missing something? Why is this mechanic in the game??

I'm not stuck btw, I don't even think I've guessed wrong yet (purely by luck), but...just what is the purpose?

I figured it out randomly too, until I unlocked the “key to success” skill, and then it will automatically pick the right key for you.

That was one of the first skills I unlocked too.

I've played the entire Yakuza series and honestly I feel like there are always mechanics in these games that have no real purpose or stakes. Somehow it usually just adds to the charm, but this one is the most egregious.

Yeah, I do love the little things they add that are usually meaningless in the end. But I’ll be glad to tell you that that’s gone in the sequel, so there’s that lol EDIT: Just noticed you know that lol
