Switzerland is a nation of assholes
I've never met any Swiss, but their government sure is dogshit on the international stage at doing anything except protecting the ultra-wealthy.
Their government comes from the people though. People raised in Swiss homes, were educated in Swiss schools, and worked in Swiss businesses. It's fair to say that the government is representative of the people.
As much as Trump is representativ for americans.

Assuming you're a usalander, wouldn't you be pissed off if everyone assumed you were representative of your government? One of the most fucked up governments in the western world....

Actually thinking about it, my one anecdote is that my interviewer for a job application was Swiss. Didn't offer any pleasantries to make me feel less nervous just dove straight into the technical task straight away. I didn't get the job

That appears to be our main goal concerning international relations I'm afraid.
