U.S. sanctions on Russia meant that Starlink satellite connection near Crimea could not be turned on for a Ukrainian military operation without permission from the U.S. president, Elon Musk said at the All-In Summit in Los Angeles on Sept. 12.

Lol, funny how that's a totally different reason than he first gave, now that he saw the backlash

And unsurprising that he's using it as an opportunity to double down on his new conservative pandering, but somehow making it "Biden wouldn't let me!"
