Occasionally I’m tempted to look at Reddit again, and then I remember that I’d have to use the web or official client now, so it would all just be ads anyway…
If you have to view reddit. old.reddit.com on FF with ublock is the least worst option.
Or use RSS.
On mobile the stupid site still gives me the popup every time for getting the app. I try not to bother.
I haven't felt the need to bother since early June. I can't say lemmy quite fills the gap, but reddit doesn't fill it anymore either.
I stopped using mobile to access reddit when that bullshit started.
I catch it every so often but I’m not really missing anything anymore. Kinda like reaching for a newspaper for more takes on a story.
