Does Karma not count? Please educate me if I'm being overly suspicious of what I interpreted to be spamming.
Karma is the number of points earned for posts and comments. In this example, it shows that the posts were quite appreciated. Until you came with your spam accusation.
Again, forgive me for being skeptical of such high traction on a brand new account, especially since this community is still pretty small. I have been watching it grow for a few months, and noticed a flurry of activity.
Fair enough, the fediverse has much more potential to survive if we all help make it good.

Those numbers under Karma are how many up votes they've received on their posts and comments, respectively, not how many posts they've made.
Not on your instance, but I assume that's the posters "reputation". It's the sum score of likes/dislikes their threads/comments received from viewers. The user has no control over it.
